“To come to another legendary organization at this stage in my career is really a dream come true,” Kingsbury said. “The future of the 82nd is definitely going to be as bright and as glorious and as heroic as the past has been, which singles us out as a division from other similar organizations.”
On Wednesday, the division welcomed Kingsbury, who served in the British Army for more than 15 years, as the 82nd Airborne Division’s deputy commanding general for plans. Brig. James Learmont and Col. Michael Fenzel departed from their deputy commanding roles with the division.
