A Fort Bragg parachute rigger has died after being struck by a vehicle during physical training last week, according to the Army.
Sgt. Jalisha Vonshay Tucker, 24, a parachute packer for 3rd Special Forces Group's Support Battalion, was struck by a vehicle on Yadkin Road near Canopy Lane around 6:45 a.m. on Oct. 24. She was conducting physical training, Army officials said.
The Army's Criminal Investigation Command is investigating, according to Chris Grey, a spokesman for the command.
