Here I am interviewing two of the soldiers who returned from their mission in Liberia. Photo by Cindy Burnham.
Some of Fort Bragg's soldiers shipped out to Liberia to help fight Ebola.
The soldiers weren't actually going to be interacting with infected patients. Instead, they would be building camps for humanitarian workers that did work with Ebola patients.
Nonetheless, these troops needed special training before they left - and had to undergo the mandatory 21-day quarantine upon their return.
In addition to the story, I also produced a short video for the website.
You can read the story and watch the video clip here: http://www.fayobserver.com/military/fort-bragg-troops-return-from-ebola-mission-to-liberia/article_91fe8290-7a2a-5ee7-95c0-e9b50d2be1b3.html
